Q. Line springs off my spool and causes tangles!
A. You might have too much line on your reel, aim to fill it to around 1mm below the lip!
Q. The float goes under every time I cast out!
A. You have too much weight on the line, remove a split shot with your fingernails and add a smaller one instead.
Q. I'm missing an item from the kit (when first opening)
A. This is a very rare issue but could potentially happen. I currently don’t hold stock of all the individual items, so can’t send you the missing component, however if you email store@fishwithcarl.co.uk with a photo of your kit with all items laid out and let us know what's missing, we’ll check the value of the missing item and refund you it’s cost. Please note, we can only issue refunds within the first month of purchase.

If you want more of a certain product from the kit, I’d suggest taking the packaging of the desired item to your nearest tackle shop and ask them for it. Failing that, check out the product name list below and ask the shop for the item.
